This year we had a smaller birthday playdate. It was cupcake themed with pink and mint/aqua colors. Most of her friends were able to come, so the house was full of giggles and smiles. Brinn loved her party- even though there were a few meltdowns since it was hard to wait to eat the cupcakes until all her little friends arrived. Ah, patience. That, my dear, will be a lifelong battle. She received beautiful gifts from friends near and far, and even more love and well wishes. Thank you everyone for making her birthday so special! These past two years have easily been the most beautiful, full of love, happiest, most challenging, frustrating, fulfilling, perfect years of my life. Brinn, you are growing into such a beautiful, magical little lady. You are charismatic, full of life, curious, strong willed, sassy, sweet, loving, hilarious, beautiful, and silly. All rolled up into tiny little package who is our girl. Who we couldn't love anymore. Who lights up our lives and makes us 'us'. I'm so proud of you, daily, and am looking forward to seeing all that you do in the years to come. I'm not sure there is anything better in life than being your mommy. There couldn't possibly be, because my heart would combust. I love you with every piece of me.
